Today we was playing ipplepen who was top of the league. It was going to be hard game as they were improving game after game. The starting line up was: GK. Joel DR. Ty DC. Danny DC. Korey DL. Conor MR. Robbie MC. Joe MC. Jake S. ML. Jake B. FC. Ollie FC. Callum with Jordan, Rhys and Curtis on the bench. With Soli Trowell not even showing up we only had 3 subs. We started off very well, but Robbie came off after a chance at the keeper which was saved. Luckily he was ok to play in the 2nd half. Ollie had a great chance but the keeper again made a great save. They scored with some sloppy defending and a ball went over Joel to make it 1-0. Within 5 minutes it went from 0-0 to 3-0. Poor defending led to these goals. We then had another chance which was saved. 8 minutes before half time it became 4-0 with DAFCs head dropping.

Half time came and alan made some changes when jordan, curtis and robbie came on for both jakes and conor. DAFC scored the first goal of the half with come great passing which led to ball being clipped into Callum to finish it off which was our 1st goal of the season. Then they went 5-1 up which then became 6-1. Ollie had great pace upfront and him and callum done very well. It then became 7-1 and we were well out the game. We then went on the attack and scored another with some great passing from robbie and joe which as given to Ollie to make an assist for callum which was headered in. 7-2 then. Then Dartmouth had another chance but was put wide. Full time came and not a very good result, but had played some good football when on the attack. Man of the match was joint and went to Korey, Ollie and Joe.

No game on the 25th october due to half-term for schools but following week we are playing KM United at home. Kick off  is at  11.00am and hope to see you there ceering us on. Hopefully we can get our first win of the season! Come on boys!

Today was gonna be one of the toughest teams of the season. But Dartmouth played very well. With no Robbie as he was in Turkey and still no Ben they were only 14 players. There was a minute silence due to the loss of one of players bothers- Brett Hall. The starting line up was GK. Joel DR. Ty DC. Korey DC. Danny DL. Ollie MR. Rhys MC. Joe MC. Curtis ML. Jake.B FC. Soli FC. Callum with Jordan, Jake S and Conor on the bench. The game started off with both teams having chances with Callum with the first major chance that the keeper took comfortably. The first goal was made by some sloppy defending which led to one of Chudleighs players chipping the ball over Joels head. After the 1st goal, Chudleigh started to have the real chances. Half-time came. Subs were made at half-time as Dartmouth needed a win. DAFC started off very well having all the chances with Callum having most shots assisted by all players round the team. We then pushed Ollie upfront who also took on many players then shot over the bar. Joel had to make a couple of saves in the 2nd half, until the 2nd goal was also some bad defending and had a cracking shot which beat Joel. This goal happened a bit too late for Dartmouth to make a comeback. Man of the Match was awarded to Korey Worthington who had an outstanding match, but Ty and Joe also played very well. Next game will be a cup game on the 11th of October against Tedburn St. Mary, which will be at Longcross. The next league game will be away to currently undefeated Ipplpen on the 18th October. Hope to see you there cheering us on!!!

This game was the 1st match of the 2009/10 season. With Ben injured and out for a few more weeks, Danny was named captain and was set to play in midfield. The starting line-up was Goalkeeper- Joel. Defenders- Conor, Ollie, Korey, Jordan. Midfielders- Robbie, Jake B, Danny, Joe, Rhys. Striker- Callum. With Ty, Jake S and new players Soli and Curtis. The game started and Dartmouth were playing some good football. Stoke opened the scoring with some sloppy defending which led Joel no chance of a save. Dartmouth came back with chances from Callum and Robbie. Then with a strike which lobbed Joel and made it 2-0. Joe immediately came bakc but his shot was denid by the post. After this the gaffer thought it was time to make some changes which led to Jordans subsutution which led Curtis for his debut. Not much happened between then and half-time, with some great defending by both teams. Second half began and Jake S and Soli came on at half-time for Jake B and Rhys. This half DAFC had all the chances with some great football. Robbie had a fantastic shot which hit the crossbar and Callum missed the follow up. Joe Wright had also missed who was also denied by the crossbar. Then the gaffer had to make some bigger changes. Ty had come on for Conor, leading to put 3 at the back and putting Ollie upfront. Soli had had two headers pue passed the post. Ollie had made an impact upfront but not matched happend with Joel having nothing to do. Not the start we wanted but we will have to go into the next game with hight hopes . Man of the match was named by Ben was Joe Wright and Ben thought he played outstanding.
No game on the 20th of September due to people being away. The next game will be on the 27th of september against league favourties Chudleigh Athletic and hopefully after that Ben will be playing again or at least back and able to play again. Hope to see you at the next match!!
